Aviation English

The ability to communicate fluently in English is mandatory if you wish to become a pilot or an air traffic controller internationally.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sets the standard for English proficiency for all pilots, air traffic controllers, and flight dispatchers. All speakers of Aviation English must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4 in order to be fully licensed internationally.

Aviation English improves your ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language with regards to all of the key aviation language including:

[a] Meteorology

[b] Navigation

[c] Air traffic control regulations

[d] Maps and charts and a variety of other areas

I have taught Aviation English to pilots and air traffic controllers from a variety of countries over the past 7 years and I am well acquainted with all of the necessary course material designed for the different levels of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements.

I can help pilots and air traffic controllers learn all of the necessary technical language associated with their respective professions and also help them overcome non-routine communication challenges.
